Tabletop Playground for iPhone Installation: A Step-by-Step Guide

Before we begin, it's essential to note that a factory reset will erase all your work, so make sure to backup your data before proceeding. Once you've taken care of that, follow these steps:

1. For HX Stomp XL, hold down footswitches C & D and turn on the device.

2. For HX Stomp, hold down footswitches 2 & 3 and turn on the device.

3. For HX Effects, hold down footswitches 6 & TAP (the two farthest right switches on the bottom row) and turn on the device.

4. For Helix Rack, hold down knobs 5 & 6 (the two furthest right knobs below the screen) and turn on the device.

5. For Helix Floor/LT, hold down footswitches 9 & 10 (the two middle switches on the bottom row) and turn on the device.

Once you've turned on your device, click 'resume' and wait for the second part of the update to complete. You'll know it's working when HX Edit displays a message indicating that your device must be reset.

If your Helix Floor/Rack/LT is currently running firmware 3.15 or older, you may encounter an issue during the update process where the LCD reads 'Boot Failure'. Don't worry; this is normal and will resolve itself halfway through the update.

To initiate the update process, connect your Helix/HX device to your computer, launch HX Edit (version 3.01 or higher), and make sure you're signed in. HX Edit will automatically detect when a new update is available and guide you through the entire process, including backing up all your data to your computer.

The good news is that this update includes thousands of additional IR files, which is completely normal and won't affect your overall experience. The bad news is that the 3.70 update process may take around 30 minutes or more to complete, so be patient!
